The construction sector is experiencing a transformation in its operations as a result of the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI), which has reduced the likelihood of human error, increased productivity and improved safety. This study puts together the latest research and developments in the use of AI technologies including machine learning, computer vision, robotics, and natural language processing to make construction sites safer and more productive. AI has brought about new technologies, such as very powerful ways of computing that function like the brain. It introduces real-time monitoring systems, predictive safety modeling, self-driving machines and smart scheduling tools that are changing the industry. AI is becoming more common in the construction business, although not as much as in other industries. Also, even though AI is a trendy issue in built environment research, there aren't many review studies that look at why AI isn't being used more in the construction sector. The purpose of this study is to bridge this gap by determining the advantages of AI and the steps the construction industry needs to take to implement it. The researchers and practitioners may also learn how to use AI better by reading about the problems and possible solutions that lie ahead.
